Requirements for Residency

Potential clients must be sixty-five years of age or older and able to ambulate a minimum of fifty feet without the aid of another person however assistance from wheelchairs, walkers and canes are acceptable. The State of Georgia requires residents be able to evacuate from the building with minimal assistance in case of emergency. The Yellow Brick House interprets this to mean a resident must be able to transfer out of a bed or chair with minimal assistance and ambulate independently towards the exit.
